Could somebody tell me how much wider the thighs are on the Rescue compared to the New Standard? Ordered new standard, but the thighs are way too tight. Also, the waist measured 16" and this is a size 31, while others were getting 16.25" on a size 29 Â

I also found the new standards to be much lighter in colour than I expected from the pictures on APCs site, how are the Rescues? darker/lighter or same? At the moment I haven't decided if I should get a larger size in New Standards (but I fear by the time I get my legs to fit, the waist will be too big) or go for a different cut. Here are a few pics of what I received:

this doesn't look like a pair of jeans . These look like the infamous tight new standards I wrote about in an earlier post (see APC tight Cure...)

Send them back, and order a "unisex" jeans, I guess this is the new name for the model you are looking for. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

*grinds teeth*

I think you're right Luc.
I should've read the forums a little more carefully.

Going to exchange them for the UNISEX ones, I take it I should still stick to my 31 size then?

The pair of jeans should have the word "Cure" on a tag just below the wasit and doesn't have the Red selvage line. Unlike some other APC jeans, this pair of "jeans" can be bought at a discount in APC store during sales.

As to whether it is ugly or not, well, some pretty famous formal clothing brand offer jeans that look quite similar to this one alebit with higher waist and more generous cut

Neither rain nor sleet... No, I am getting married July 2. Â Thanks though Steve.
Hey I'll be in San Diego for the 4th of July. Can I stop by the wedding?
