Inside breast pocket, I'd think, with alternate places being side jacket pocket or briefcase, depending on whether you're going through security or settled into your seat.

I have one and generally dont wear a jacket while travelling so I put it in my duffle bag. I generally dont find it very useful. My wife has a Samsonite BL one with a zip and I find that a zipped one is more practical. BTW, your links are not opening in my browser so you might have selected one with a zip.

Well, these are about 5-6 inches wide at least, so they don't fit in a breast pocket.

^^ It is too big and bulky to be put inside a jacket pocket except maybe a hip patch pocket

Yes, hence my question about how they are used. But they are definitely for men, and when I was there a quite elderly looking man of some distinction was purchasing one.

You hold it in your hand, take out whatever documents are required at the particular counter and then stuff it into your briefcase/ bag/ whatever. At least that what I do.

My wife also does the same with hers but with more finesse as she has a large shoulder bag while travelling.
