Sleek Wholecuts without brouging?

Looking for a sleek pair of black wholecuts without any brouging at all. Will wear them with a tux. Spending budget = $400

Been looking everywear and the shoes I find is nowhere near as sleek as I want them to be. Would need some help here? Suggestions?

I have a pair of the carminas in tan. Lovely shoe, but with trees and shipping you are looking at at least 500 Usd

Just be aware that an order with Meermin may take some time to arrive, so if you need them urgently then it may not be the best choice. Fantastic shoes at a fantastic price though.

Is it a big difference between Carmina and Meermin in terms of quality?

I can only compare the classic meermins with Carmina, and say that even though the Meermins are very nice, there is a reason why Carrmina is more expensive. The finish is better and better raw materials.. i dont own linea maestros, that might be a different matter
