I'm probably in the minority but I've always preferred the old skool over the authentics. The black and white checkerboard slip ons too.

Authentics with the extra cushion sole and forget about all the fancy stuff.

I hate to say it, but all of those other ones not only look alike, but also resemble a Nordstrom Rack special.
I get that, but feel like authentics would look out of place in the workplace. The original pair I'm after is a collab between C.QP and Eidos few years ago. I think it's the second pair I posted above. I might just hold out and see if C.QP drops some new colorways as Gentleman's Footwear in LA? and The Armoury carry limited offerings. Sweyd seems almost like a good alternative.

Or maybe Stoffa..

Not sure if it fits better in CMw or here, but I recently saw an Avon Celli Cashmere sweater and cant decide whether to keep or not so I thought to get some help here.

From I can tell it seems to be in quite nice condition though the hems feel a tiny bit stetched out (for sure not unusable) apart from that I have no idea about age, ply or anything else.
The fit is a bit on the looser side but for a chunky sweater I dont really mind.
Price is 200€.

From my reseach AC seems to have a good reputation for knit though they dont seem to have a website anymore. Any thoughts about the brand, the piece and the price?

Please ignore the horrible trousers :)

Thanks!

I have two Avon Celli sweaters that have held up well if that helps...

Looking for a first pair of sneakers as I've only worn leather footwear for some time now. Something to pair with an Ivy/Repro style (chino, ocbd fits). White, green or blue dominant are fine.

Been eyeballing these but not sure if they fit the style: NB 2002R

Another one from me. I fell a bit in love with a Cashmere coat from Schneiders Salzburg (Austrian company producing in Salzburg, I think not much known outside of DACH). However I am wondering whether I can justify pulling the trigger.

I really love the fabric (Colombo cashmere, feels really nice) including the blueish/greyish color and some nice details of the coat like horn buttons, back style etc.
I think the length also works well, not too short but also not too long.
Overall it feels like it works really wear with a suit/jacket but can also be dressed down a little bit. The second part is quite important for me because I committed to buy fewer pure business wear cloth, since I am only going to the 2-3 days a week these days..

The discounted price of 500€ seems quite attractive considering the Colombo fabric, details etc (only a few sizes are available and in small quantities so I assume they are getting rid of some leftover stock. Retail seems to be ~1500-2000€ which seems plausible but not sure how meaningful).

On the other hand i am bit not sure what to think about the detachable west with fur collar (I assume I will not be using it).
I am also wondering if the coat is not a bit too large (though I feel for this type of coat it feels okayish to me. I am wearing it with a jacket in the pics).
Another concern is that the coat is only quarter lined and overall the fabric is also quite light weight. Due to that it feels a bit delicate though I am not sure if thats maybe a bit misleading. I think it drapes okay for the weight but of course not as note as heavier coat would. On the other hand it barely gets below freezing where I live, so a heavier cashmere coat is probably not really helpful either.

So overall I am really tempted as like the coat quite a bit (especially with the relatively reasonable price) but on the hand I am not sure if it is really practival enough and whether I will get enough use out of it.

Any thoughts from anyone? Would appreciate any perspectives :)

PS: Sleeves clearly need to be shortened but shouldnt be an issue

It’s a really nice coat but imho it one size too big. Length is good but sleeves are too long. Shoulders seem ok from the front but not from the back. There is too much room there. can’t see if you are wearing a jacket underneath because that would make a difference and improve the fit.

Thank you.
Yes, all pictures are with a jacket underneath but without the detachable lining/west (except the 2nd front picture which is with jacket and lining/west). With the west its more snug but since I am not really planning to wear it much probably it make sense to look at the fit without it.
Thats the smallest size that is available, so no option to try it on and compare unfortunately.
