1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

i think the khaki one would be a better choice. from what i remember you like to wear a lot of olive and dark earthy colors, so a little bit of contrast would look nice. khaki hat, whatever color outer, neutral shirt, jeans, and white sneaks would look good.

^ dles your wardrobe is super brutal, you'd need some looser refined stuff to pull either of those off.

No probs pulling off a longer short. I'm 5'6" and look awesome in them. Just make sure the pants you wear at least narrow out below the knee. Ie skinnier pants, loose top, tapered bottom, kind of same relative deal for shorts

Hah, thanks for the honest opinion. I feel like it could be one of those cool but unwearable pieces that sit in my closet forever.

Thanks. I guess I never thought of my wardrobe as super brutal. But maybe that is what is. I appreciate the perspective.

Here's another for you fine folks here.

Marsell boots in grey or black. Any info on the quality of this brand? Goodyear welts, leather, etc.? I'm finding very little. I'm between these Marsells and some other boots (admittedly very different styles that would serve different purposes: NDC side zips with a rounder toe and McKinlay's Sherwoods in black)

    Don't like either of them.
First one has weird collar + ugly pockets.
Second one just looks to much like a "normal" bathrobe

Dunno any better options to the first (Nonnative I guess?) but Wings + Horns have a nicer looking option than the second one.

Thanks, the more I think about it the more I'm leaning toward the second one, too.

I actually really like that Eidos robe/cardigan. Definitely buy it.
The w+h robe koy might be thinking of is probably the cabin fleece one which was limited to like 20 pieces. I have that one. They are two very different things though, get the Eidos Napoli for sure.

I'm a newb, but I agree on these points. The nonnative logger (?) is one I've been after because I think it's a better looking version of that Eidos.

I liked that at first, but am liking it less the more I look--especially on the grey.

Very easy to wear (dunno about this specific item), go for it. Don't layer too much it messes the airy feeling you get from wearing these.

no, maybe peeking out under a jacket but then you can't remove your jacket. I guess I'd be ok with a shirt that colour worn with navy pants.

Orientalist silk robes can only be worn by certain kinds of people, I doubt you're one of them and it isn't necessarily a bad thing. Do not buy.
