Shoes : Classic, Modern Classic, Modern, which one you prefer ?

here you have an image showing three kinds of black wingtips

1. A classic longwing goodyear welted
2. A modern classic slimmer blucher ( this one i use most )
3. A modern Italian slim shoe

which one you prefer and/or in when ?

For that trouser leg width, I'd go for the Italian.

Italian as the other ones look like 'clogs' or 'peasant shoes'

+1 (at least with slim trousers). WIth denim or corduroy go for the heavy ones. Edit: Clarification: I would own any of those shoes myself

What is the make of those Italians?

i always thought that the bulkier american or English made shoes made me look more authoritative and striking. each step seems to be very confident and looks like i know where i am going.

the italian slimmer ones are my favorite because they come in more fascinating modern takes on styles.
makes my foot look sleeker, lighter, so i look more dashing, chic, etc.
i like to wear them more on nights out, not for business. for stylish looks, going out with my wife, dating (before my wife), etc.

Ralph Harrison shoes, sold here in Geneva, they have two lines... one Goodyear Welted english style.. other line, slim stylish Italian... they are made in Italy and sold in Europe

I do agree... the Goodyear welted "british" shoes are more authoritative... but I do like best a more modern take on the classics... the second pair ( modern classic ) is also Italian, brand is Paul Casty and are lower quality and price... I bought them because they have a rubber sole, so I use them when rains and when I don't want my shoes get damaged ( a night at the disco for example). the Slim Italian are stylish and I don't use them so often... I fear they are too edgy.. but now that I see your opinions I will start to use them more often too... as you see they have a hybrid sole... leather with a protective rubber grid.
