I am quite happy with my guarded goods card holder; he does have a few bifolds as well. Many of his colors are horween.

Ah nice Wallet Appreciation.

I was in the market for a shell wallet and I happened on Ashland Leather out of Chicago IL. Found out the place is run by 2 Horween employees, so Horween tanners by day, wallet makes by night.

They have a great selection of wallets, I wanted something different so I went for the Fat Herbie shell #8 reversed interior. The leather as we know is the best and the workmanship is insane with a lifetime warranty.

The wallets are by no means cheep (as in price) but I can tell you worth every penny. They also run weekly deals on select items like now they have all Green wallets on sale for Saint Patricks day. Sometimes they will have very limited number of seconds on sale. I paid full price as my old wallet was falling apart and now I have the last wallet of my life and I'm sure a few generations after me will enjoy this wallet too.

As I move towards modern times, I decided my Fat Herbie is too big. My CC's are on my phone and watch so only need 1 for emergency backup. Moving away from cash so decided I did not even need a bill slot. With just a few cards, Tesla key, a license, and emergency cash Fat Herbie was in need of a diet. The color #8 Fat Herbie also never lightened up as I had hoped for like some of my shoes. After I purchased the Fat Herbie they came out with the ultraviolet and that became my new favorite shell color.

So finally pulled the trigger and got a Bugs Moran ultraviolet reversed. Things have slimmed down and really if it was not for carrying an emergency CC, emergency car key, a few emergency bills I could slim down even more.

Ashland Natural Shell Cordovan with reverse interior next to Ashland 100% English Tan Dublin. The Dublin looks a little smaller because it's had time to break in and mold to the contents of the wallet and my rear end. The natural shell cordovan just arrived today.
