Has Chris from Bennies ever shown up to one of these? I credit him with being the organizer of the first official StyleForum meetup (DC 2005) and the originator of the Shoe Circle.

It was small: just Karim, Ed, whnay and myself. Not sure how long it went, as I had to leave after an hour. All-in-all it was good to see the three of them again and chat about rye and how none of us care who Vox is.

We can do the usual Sid's rendezvous but I say we do Ormsby's or something that's both indoors and accommodating. The upstairs bar at JCT is a bit cramped during winter.

Per timing, what is the verdict? I really floated the idea casually, but if we can get something going I think it would be a good time.

Open to interpretation. Usually we do a weekend rendezvous as it is easiest for those who live OTP or elsewhere in Georgia (like Karim in Athens). However, after work drinks would be fine by me as well. So long as there is booze involved, I'll be there.

So, as of now, are these the dates on the table?

I don't matter but am up for any Saturday for the remainder of Feb and in March except for Mar 22. Understanding of course that I am older in age terms and young in SF longevity, I do like booze though so I have that going for me.
