Which put Slim first in his own mind, yet second in Yahoo's.

But Yahoo determines the winner. And I was.

But the playoffs determine the true league champion- which Slim was, again by a pretty large margin.

Anyway- let's move ahead to this year. I had a good week 1, you had a bad one.

You have an awesomely drafted team as usual, but may have injury problems.

I have a mediocre team, which I will try to better by luck and by skill.

As we both know, if I win, it will be by a large amount of the former.

The league is largely meaningless. Beating Steve is as always, my number one goal.

I believe I asked Slim once why didn't just play Steve head-to-head for a whole year in a two league, and I think he said something about needing witnesses. Also, of course, to thin the depth in the draft.

Either way, I will again enjoy trying to play spoiler.

I'll start trying now (that's what she said).

However, I don't really know how this works, so if anyone wants to give me advice throughout the season I'll likely take it (this includes trading for players you may want that I may or may not have).

How it works is - trade me Papelbon for Carlos Gomez - you need more steals and I could use some saves. How's that sound!

Too good to be true.

Good place to start are the Yahoo Season and O-Ranks. Whenever you get a trade offer, click the "Ranks" tab and work from there.

Also, take note of what you need in every category. If you need steals and have AVG, trade AVG for steals, etc.

I have the 3,4, and 7 hitters in our league. Glad I picked up Bonifacio and drafted Cruz. M. Cabrera looks on the way to a monster year.
