I bought a bottle of 1740 by Histoires de Parfum yesterday and I am wearing it today. Spicy, boozy leather for a rainy autumn day.

I own it, I love it...

I was just teasing, modern versions of classics sucking is way overblown

Earlier in the day, I went with Guerlain Heritage EdT. I used to love this thing, but the spark just isn't there anymore. There's nothing wrong with the scent itself, but it just doesn't move me anymore. Perhaps I should give the EdP a shot, even though I remember it being a bit much for me.

I now have on Xerjoff 40 Knots. This is not unique by any stretch of the imagination, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I loved it. It's just such a nice summery woody scent with a lovely light-handed touch of vanilla. I like that it's on the potent side to give it an all-season oomph. I think this is bottle-worthy.
