Good day,

I have lived in SD for a while now, and unfortunately, there aren't any good consistent areas in SD
I semi-regularly go up to South Coast Plaza for my purchases. I know of a few of the big wigs that live in La Jolla, and at least one has his wardrobe delivered to him in La Jolla from SCP (wish I could afford purchases enough to convince a SA to personally deliver them post-alterations

)

BB in La Jolla is fairly good sized, and the outlets are pretty bare as of late.

Short answer is everyone wears t shirts and board shorts, from Sun Diego/Abercrombie/BR/crazy t-shirts...

Ive found some decent deals at Off Fifth, and Neiman Marcus had a Last Call section at Fashion Valley recently with some ok deals. In general I prefer walking around looking like hell except for when Im at work or its the weekend. Tuesday night I might put something akin to a trash bag over myself to go get some chinese food. But Friday night Ill look like a new man. I feel like SD is similar
