I hope this could help someone in the future:
I've contacted directly Sanders and two other retailers with my measurements. Funnily the two retailers suggested UK10 and Sanders after measuring the last itself a UK9.5.
I bought a pair of Kelso's from Yoox which are made on the same last as the Cheltenham boots in UK10. They have a good return policy so I did not have anything to lose.
Unfortunately I knew instantly that they are too long and they were too loose in the arch area, I had to tighten the laces utterly to get a so-so fit so I've returned them the next day and ordered the Cheltenham in UK9.5.
To my surprise they are ~ of the same length as my UK10 Grenson boots (which are way too roomy without an insole) but the fit is much better. The F fitting Sanders boots hold my feet without an insole much better than the G Grensons with an insole... There is a very slight probability that even the UK9 boots would have been OK but I did not have the chance to try them on and the UK9.5 seems to be very good so I am keeping them. I am curious how will be the fit after breaking them in. The boots are pretty massive and rather heavy, very well made. I cannot comment on the comfort yet.
Just for reference - my feet are ~285mm long and perhaps a bit on the wider side.

^Sounds the 9.5s would be best. If they're that big and heavy, you'll probably want to wear them with pretty thick socks.

I had a pair of Sanders uniform slipons years ago and they fit pretty wide. The model that I like the best is the suede George boots, called "Edinburgh":

I've noticed something strange on the right boot, the heel/sole seems to be a bit uneven. When they lie next to each other they seem to be even from the front but when I press down both heels the right boot goes higher by 2-3mm approximately.
Do you think this should be a concern or the rubber will wear off in a few days and the unevenness will disappear? Is this a common thing?
I've contacted Sanders directly so I am curious what will be their reply. My only concern is that they could somehow damage my feet, otherwise the boots are perfect and if it's just an "aesthetic" issue, I really don't care. But maybe I am just overthinking. What do you think?

Sanders is not doing very good with advertising in my opinion . It is little info in Internet about its ranges/ models/sizing. Old-fashioned website with ugly pictures. Hard to find Sanders shoes in brick-and- mortar shops.

Just discovered Sanders today. I don't really get why their advertising is so bad. Especially when you consider their new "Wilson" which is a British spin on the American moc toe:

Would love to try these in a 13.

Anyway, I just ordered their "Chelsea" and the "Newbury" in a 13. I'm a little on the wide side but found I was swimming in their G width Towcester.

From Sanders support:
Last length:
STET 8.5 UK : 288 mm
M265 8.5 UK : 286 mm
STET 9 UK : 293 mm
M265 9 UK : 291 mm
STET is little bit longer and narrower than M265L.

There's not much info on Sanders shoes but seen a couple of pairs on country attire on sale and I decided to buy to see. Clint Chelsea Boots -size 9 Dirty Buck Suede with gum sole and a waxy snuff suede with rubber sole size 8. Have to say pleased with the finish of them and both are comfy, I am a 8.5 usually and would say the size 8 is a great fit, best I've had though I am not sure about the waxy finish, nothing wrong with it just not sure it's what I want, looks a bit 'beat up'. The buck suede ones are a bit looser but going to keep them, put an insole in. The suede seems decent to good quality, not as good as my Edward greens obviously but for about the price of a Clarke's or base london boot I'm very happy with them.

2 years ago I think

Explains why they no longer have them in stock. I see they have similar on Sanders own website though.

Is the quality impressive? I have been looking at C&J Chiltern, Church’s Ryder among others but I like the look of Sanders offerings and they are quite a bit cheaper!

Yes, great quality, very soft lining too. These don't fit me well though so that's why they look like new :)

Still need to put them up for sale.

Good to hear. I might look into these. They do a polo snuff colour now which looks nice.

I have always thought of Sanders as underrated and good value but have yet to own any.

These are the two I liked the look of:

Bertie looks more casual and comfy with crepe or Holborn which has an itshide Dainite style for more longevity.

Soms details about the pair I own:

Made for a fine pair if shoes (insole is branded with a fine pair of shoes).
Sanders model name is Camden.
Itshide studded sole in dark brown.
