Better $700 for a pair of jeans you can actually wear than $700 for a phantom jacket you'll never get in the mail.
I justify it by dividing it by the times I wear the item, this way my SLP stuff is a lot cheaper than my H&M for example :)

I have nothing against expensive designer stuff but those jeans are a complete joke for $700. They look like ****.

Return those jeans, would not pay $10 at Gap for that look and fit.

It's easy to get tunnel-vision when you're surrounded by the internet hype train (I don't even have anything against SLP, I DKDC--don't-know-don't-care) but seriously, those pics you posted look horrifibad.

Way too reminiscent of Abercrombie jeans that flooded high school hallways, but to each his own. My take is that for $700 you could get several pairs of identical jeans of equivalent quality.

Here is my pair from LVR which I preordered them few months ago. The fit and the distress on mine are pretty good, still not the same as the stock photo but I'm actually pretty happy with mine. I'm kinda shock at the inconsistency coming from SLP.

anyway here is the pic actual pair I received (left), preorder stock photo (right)

I cancels my pre order after seeing real pics. They dropped the ball on the destroyed denim

bring back the ones with holes and chains

Regarding variations on the destroyed denim. I had the same issue last season with the gray distressed jeans. They were much less destroyed than on the pictures. If you read details on LVR, it says "Intentionally worn and destroyed areas that may vary"

However, I think they vary A LOT from the picture...
