Sage green pants

I just bought a pair of sage green pants on ebay and when I got them I realized I have no clue what kind of shirt to wear with them. What colors of shirts go with sage green? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Creams, off-whites, light yellows will match well. So will light blue just because that goes with almost anything.

I would suggest that you could stop in a local Borders/Barnes and Noble and check out an artist's color book. These will not only show what colors match each other, they will show you what colors to match depending on the mood or scheme you're going for like "modern" or a "country" vibe.

You can't go wrong with a medium blue.

Pale blue, light brown or mocha. It's hard to say, since there are many shades of "sage". Just check yourself out in the mirror.

Here's another vote for something in the brownish family. I would not recommend white shirts. For whatever reason, that has never looked great to me. I have some sage pants that I normally would wear with a camel hair jacket or a blue blazer, but when I add in a white shirt, it never seems like the best choice. This despite various ties that I have mixed in. It may not look terrible, but it seems like cream or light tan looks better to my eye.
