TIP: to embed Youtube clips, put only the encoded part of the Youtube URL, e.g. eBGIQ7ZuuiU between the tags. That is the best video on the web for seeing most of the band members in full flamboyance. Eno and Ferry in leopard patterns, McKay in saxophone superhero outfit, Phil Manzanera in science fiction sunglasses. Bryan Ferry with cigarette holder up-tilted in his teeth:

He can do tropical black tie pretty well:

Excellent. Brian Ferry, Charlie Watts (Stones drummer) and Deiter Meier (Yello) are probably the 3 top pop musicians, sartorially. Any others?

Agreed on Watts. I haven't seen many pictures of the guy from Yello, I'll try to take a look. Paul Weller in the Jam and Style Council had some good moments. Bowie has always been notable, maybe not for everyone, but from 75 - 80 period he was sharp in a way that could still inspire someone. Also, even though I'm not much of a fan but the guy from Pulp seems to wear his jackets pretty well.

Rod Stewart has made an amazing sartorial comeback from the spandex and cheetahskin disasters of the seventies and eighties. Usually besuited and often looking good.

Ferry, Watts, Stewart and Bowie are all top-notch.
