Are they all 7-fold? There is a strange little article explaining 7-Fold ties on the website, I was wondering if their ties were 7-fold...?

Also, how is the width of the PL ties right now?

No way, I wouldn't even say that the majority of PL ties are seven folds. I have a couple myself, they're single folds and a little on the wide side. Between 3.75 and 4 inches.

The 7 folds will be explicitly listed as such in an individual item description and will have a higher price than their other Purple Label ties.

the ~$225 ish ones are 7 fold and the ~ $150 ones obviously are not (i'm not quite sure as to what construction they employ).

I have some non-seven folds. They are pretty thin and don't make great knots IMHO.

Ya, they don't actually account for the price difference... I didn't see a mention that the 225$ ones were 7-fold...

They do, and from the last ones I saw about 2 months ago at the Chicago Mansion, they had incredible silk , nice construction, and the gaudiest and ugliest patterns I ever saw. You don't know how sad I was
that they could destroy such beautiful silk with such horrendous patterns. Clown like.

They had some this past January at my store in Dallas that were classic patterns, such as navy pindot, etc.

Oh, well they did last season on the website. The current ones probably aren't if they don't say so.
