Thanks for posting some of the fabric options. It's giving me some ideas for the trunk show.

What about heavier Fall/WInter sport coat fabric options. Anything in a donegal tweed? If so, any in a cashmere blend?

Here is a nice little collection of Ariston jacketing fabrics in both wool/ cashmere-blends and donegals. Artiston weaves fabrics that are very rich in color and I would call them more in keen to a fabric designer.

Are these 100% wool donegals or a cashmere blend? That blue would make a very nice casual option over a blue blazer.

These are in fact 100% wool. All colors in donegal look very smart and sophisticated for a casual fall jacket. Picture these in a 3-open-patch, 3-rolled-to-two button sport jacket with cuffed selvedge jeans, oxford-cloth button-down shirts, and suede chukka boots. Now there is your fall outfit!

Speaking of green....

Here is a pic of Jim Ockert, owner of Khakis Carmel, putting the finishing touches on my most recent green corduroy suit by Ring Jacket using a Zegna blend cotton fabric. It is very soft. Much more so than most 100% cotton corduroys.

Here is another collection of fabrics from Holland & Sherry's Classic Worsted suiting book. All fabrics from this book are woven in a weight of 13oz. It's easy to imagine a tailor's smile when they cut such a fabric as it provides superior drape and wrinkle-resistance. Included in this book are a few suiting fabrics you would not normally have expected such as lighter browns, blues, and even purples!
