Has anyone used this website to have a pair of shoes resoled? It looks to me like it might be a decent spot (especially considering my locale), and I just so happen to work down the street from the store.

I'm thinking about having a pair of Shell PTBs, any special considerations I should consider inquiring about?

thanks

Just in case someone else searches - I made contact with owners, sounds like they completely remove old sole, but then glue a new one on.

They do not stitch the new sole to the welt, nor do they re-welt.

Why take a chance with a pair of shells when you could send them to B Nelson and know they are going to be done right?

I try to support local craftsmen, and my local economy when possible. I am going to check out one other option, and then B. Nelson if it doesn't work out.
