They're pretty much red like that and kind of a denim feel.

Personally, for more casual pants I prefer a more faded look. Perhaps this will happen with yours. In that event you can channel a Nantucket Reds look. From there I would pair with an OCBD, needlepoint belt and penny loafers (obviously no socks). Granted, that's a very preppy style but it seems to make the most natural sense to me.

I have three pair of trousers in shades of red. However, all of them are formal, wool trousers. Accordingly I wear them with a blazer, white (or pale blue) shirt and a conservative tie (large Repp stripe or sedate pattern). Accompany with a pair of tassel or penny loafers.

In any event, pair brazen pants with sedate solids. Darker, richer colors will help ground the bright color of the pants.

Maybe send them back even - a brave soul to wear tyhose in public despite GQ!
There is absolutly nothing wrong with a fitted (not talking about super skinny) pair of red pants worn with a navy odd jacket and some med brown calf loafers or casual shoes like monks.
It's a smart modern look.

^ Not too pink, not too bright, not too faded. Perfect color. I wear mine w/ a milkshake suede shoe (double monk & chukka) and a ravello longwing. Blue or white linen shirt.
