So I'm about to be traveling continuously for a couple of weeks (including internationally), and I need shoe advice.
Now, I'm a pretty minimalist packer, so my goal is to only use one pair of shoes for the whole trip that can be used for a wide range of occasions (as casual as dark slim jeans up to suit + tie formality), but I also need it to be comfortable (I'm going to be doing a LOT of walking), easily removable (long plane flights + TSA).
All that being said, some kind of leather slip-on would be ideal, and it seems to me, from what little I've researched, that a pair of black leather Chelsea boots would be ideal.
The question is, where can I get a good pair of them for a decent price in relatively short notice? Preferably in a store where I can try them on first. I'm leaving for my trip next week, and I know I should've planned this better and bought them much earlier (I normally do), but I didn't.
Alternatively, if anyone has any suggestions for other types of versatile traveling shoes, I'm all ears. Regardless, I'd prefer not to spend more than $300.
