1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    I wouldn't wear/buy them myself, Jrd...not my cup-o-tea, but doesn't mean they aren't nice.

Some new stuff for me today:

I hear yer. Thing is Murl, IIRC, has some lovely Vass split toes that buck that trend for me. Certainly on my radar. Just got some C & J split toes and off to Northampton (EG) for a look at Dovers...

Tis a lovely shirt that, looking forward to seeing the PS too, nice haul there Murl.

Elio, what do you think about the U last?

Oh, they're fine shoes, no argument about that. I do like the U last and the even pointier K as well. But as much as I like them, I always feel that there are more elegant alternatives (E.G. and G&G respectively, for example).

Never been too keen on Vass myself, either.

Interesting. I had never been a Vass man myself, but after handling and trying on a few pair, Im sold. They also feel much sturdier than some of their counterparts.

Thanks, guys. I'm a huge fan of Vass, Elio. Different strokes for different folks though. Those AS were the real winner of the bunch, I love em'.

No idea when I will wear the square, but at least I have one now, Cleav. I do have the Vass Norwegers...my favorite shoes.

That's great! It's good to have diversity, would be boring if we'd all wear the same shoes. I think that with the current interest in #menswear, we're lucky to have a lot more quality RTW shoe offerings - at varying price points - than say, 10 years ago. (I know Vass has been around for much longer, but AFAIK wasn't easily available until recently).

Just back from my Northampton 'business' trip. Thirty minute meeting (EG) went well, also had a good contract review meeting forty minutes

    Kopped, pics to follow...
