If it is cold you can't wear dress clothes? That's bizarre to me. Dress clothes are "suited" for colder weather imo.

I live in Houston. My dress clothes are basically designed for office wear and not to walk around outside in the cold. I don't own any flannel shirts or pants. I also don't own any sweaters.

All my cold weather jackets and **** like that aren't really that dressy.

To go from my house to my car(s) in my garage is a 3 or 15 ft walk depending on which car I drive. From the parking lot to my office it's like a 20 to 50 yard walk depending on where I park. That's not a lot of time outdoors.

Are you looking for approval to wear jeans and a parka? Otherwise, no idea what kind of advice/feedback you're asking for.

I just don't want to look out of place if I don't wear a suit or sports coat.
