Hey all, first time poster here and well, i'm in quite a bind.

I've come to a realization that my image needs a rehaul (imagine horror stories full of band t-shirts and levi's). I've always been rather fashion savvy due to the interests of many of my friends, but haven't had the funds to support the look I've been searching for. Recently, I landed a great internship that has left me with loads of extra cash...so I kind of splurged...

I've been wearing black chucks for awhile now (disgusting, I know), and now I'm completely turned away from the idea of wearing sneakers any longer. So after quite a bit of searching, I ended up on this pair of R&R boots that I really, really liked. I think I'm going to keep them, but I have only vague ideas of what to match them with... thinking dark, slim/straight legged denim (not skinny), with different collared shirts. As for the denim, I'm thinking a nice pair of Acne Max Raw's or Diesel's would go great with the boot look. As for the shirts...still working on that...

TL;DR What are your opinions on my new boots, and what should I wear them with?
