Does anyone know how the ties advertised for €5-10 in touristy shops in Italy compare to the ties available in the USA (say $15 ties at Nordstrom Rack)

Thanks

Junk of course.
Real value in Italy is artisanal work, you can have bespoke ties practically in every major town if you know the right guys ...

Well of course they are 'junk', but are they any better than equivilantly priced junk in the USA?

maybe , not exactly lies.......just chinese-run sweatshops in Italy, taking advantage of the "MADE IN ITALY" tag
""At the moment there are approximately 4,000 Chinese-run clothing factories in Prato. These new production dynamics are compelling the remaining Italian businesses based there to rethink their markets."

The Italian fashion capital being led by the Chinese

Alright, at first glance I thought the guy pictured in that link was Fok. I think it was the hair and the scarf.

Interesting. Thanks for the info. So can someone recommend the best $10 ties available in the USA? Or should I pick up a few of these.
Thanks

That's like asking which 90's Ssangyong you should buy on a forum dedicated to Jaguar E-types.
