Well if he really wants to recycle, my art car could use a couple of crown jewels for the hood ornament gnome's specticals.

Really? Can't imagine Charles saying that. His father, maybe.

I know Charles caused some upset among China's elite when a memo in which he described the Communist leadership as "appalling old waxworks" was leaked.

As for the appeal to vintage clothing, he's spot on.

And? That's not offensive, but essentially correct, and the final point is the truly relevant one -- and it implicated the West as much as anyone else.

I see nothing wrong with what he said about Western Levels. Considering the United States is only 300m people, and China and India is over 2,460m. United States accounted for 33% of the World Consumption in 2007. If India and China started to consume like United States we couldn't support them.

He is essentially correct. But it is a call for Western Countries to be more responsible and consume less than a statement saying India and China need to stay in the Pre-Industrial Age.

Agreed, the suit is nice. But is it the right outfit do one's gardening?

I presume, judging by spade, cart, bucket and tools he is about to do some serious digging and weeding.
