I am the proud new owner of these boots. Should one spray some Water & Stain Repellent on them before their inaugural wearing? Thanks.

Yes. Just bought a pair in snuff suede myself. The salesperson at the store sprayed mine with a stain guard.

Thanks for the response..I have Penguin Water & Stain Repellent. Do you know if he sprayed them while they contained the shoe trees? It would be difficult to spray them while they loll - just the nature of unlined suede.

Won't make a difference if you spray them in trees or spray them without trees.
