"Prepping for the storm" can have a number of meanings, depending on your particular social niche. If you're mafoofan, it can mean preparing to launch another assault on the edifice of reason with some nonsensical rant about an Hermes breast wallet. If you're a prepper, it could mean the long awaited day when your tens of thousands of dollars invested in canned goods and bottled water is suddenly worthwhile. And if you are a regular StyleForum poster, it could just mean you're transitioning to Fall and Winter.

Classic Menswear Lounge

Every good forum needs a thread where people can bullshit and endlessly post, either in hopes of upping their post count (who cares?), validating their existence, or forming integral, closeknit e-relationships. Whatever floats your boat. For our Classic Menswear forum, that thread is the Lounge - a no holds barred (within reason?) place to talk about your likes, your dislikes, your desires, and truthfully anything you want to that's related to be an e-Gent of the first rank.

Casual Classic Menswear

Casual dress for the Classic Menswear forum may seem like a contradiction in terms - but it's true! And there's definitely a difference between the looks found in this thread and what you find on the dark side, the Streetwear & Denim forum. With dropping temperatures comes the opportunity to dress in clothing (and layers) outside of your stuffy, business casual workplace, and this thread is a place to explore and celebrate this looks. You know that expensive Inis Meain knit you bought to validate your slavish devotion to No Man Walks Alone (and because it looks super awesome)? It works with jeans too!

Weddings!

Fall is wedding season! And hopefully no hurricanes will destroy your beautiful outdoor day! If you're a guest or a lucky groom, this thread is a guide on what to wear and how to dress, and what rules are ironclad (don't wear any goddamn Converses you heathen), and what's flexible to personal taste. Quick tip: make sure your bride is happy if you're a groom. It pays to think beyond yourself.
