Those are very nice looking CM, how's the fit?
Knowing how hard you are on jeans I can't wait to see how they wear in.

I tried on the 1950, but it was too baggy for my scrawny ass. They look fantastic on you. I loved the denim, and the jeans in general, and really wished they had had a 1980's cut in my size.

Congrats!

Nudie 'Svenska' Straight Svens at 6months, 0 washes: The colour is closer to the first image rather than the others which look more blue.

Well, as it so happens, you've all been a bad influence on my buying habits, and no longer able to restrain myself to more um...."popular" brands of denim, I took the plunge and ordered a pair of the Sugar Cane Okinawas (the basic model, in a one-wash-SC40301A) from Super Rag (who chainstitched the hem for me too!)-

While I am incredibly excited to break them in, I was vaguely curious-I checked all the threads I could find and decided to order them in my regular size (34), but they are really, really tight in the waist. Barring the possibility that I'm huger than I thought, any chance these will stretch out?

Thought so, but I wasn't sure if I would have to jump right into the arcane washing rituals and whatnot that seem to accompany these things.

On the other hand, my fingertips are already tinted blue, so I consider that a good start! In all due sincerity, I uh....actually wanted to thank all of you raw denim afficianados for the information and enthusiasm for these things. I'm sure I never would have braved the Japanese internet if not for your collective advice and awe-inspiring pictures. Oh, and I promise to use reasonably good grammar in the future!
