Possible to remove small metal logo w/o damaging shoe?

I recently purchased these shoes:

I am very happy with them but really wish the silver logo could be removed. I wonder if this is just simply glued on and if it could be possible to remove w/o seriously damaging the shoe? If it left a very faint impression I wouldn't mind and would prefer to the logo.

The logo is the best part. If you remove it, save it so you can upgrade a different pair of shoes.

The only advice I can give is do not buy shoes with a small metal logo on them.

This is quite good. I noticed that the bluefly page also has an INCREDIBLY zoomed in close up of said logo...did you fail to notice it when purchasing???

no I was aware. I like the shoes and think they are nice even w/ the logo. I'm wearing them today and the logo is quite small but was just curious if it could be removed. I will inquire w/ local cobbler.

What if you have your cobbler lightly sand the logo, and apply some black dye on it?
Technically it would still be there but muted enough not to attract the eye.

I didn't even realize that is a gucci logo. Nobody is going to seek you walking around in that and instantly think "GUCCI!"

You can't take off the logo without doing serious damage.

Yeah, these kind of adornments are often/usually riveted through the leather to the inner. Unless you're happy with the 'single-hole-brogue' effect, I'd leave as is.
