I just impulse bought this new blue Alpinist. Hope it works out! Been looking for a new field-style watch, something other than my usual diver style.

Great pickup! I saw it, but waffled on the price and it was gone before I knew it! I have the SARG007, which is very similar. I love the watch - great size and super versatile.

That's a good impulse...especially for the price. Sold out by the time I looked at it.

Those flippers are going to be pissed when Seiko releases a nearly identical, non-limited version of the blue Alpinist at Basal in a few weeks.

Decided to grab my Marathon TSAR this morning and put that on the wrist. I love this one but just noticed that the battery EOL indicator is functioning. I guess it’s time to take it in for a new battery and have the gaskets checked since they’ll open it up. Oh well, it’s an excuse to head to my favorite kosher BBQ place down near my watchmaker’s storefront.

^^^ Stunning! Available when?

Still available on pre-order (though a little more expensive than when we started the Kickstarter campaign, but that's only fair to the people who are waiting longer), and deliveries should start in April! We've talked to our suppliers today, and thus far no delays seem to be expected :) Crossing fingers it will stay that way.

Excellent. April is right around the corner.
