Thanks guys, good to hear it from people more knowledgeable than myself, though I kinda knew it would come down to that one in the end.

My two military inspired watches on their custom straps made for them.

Each watch under 500, straps around 100 -150

New poster here, got this beauty last week. Uploading multiple shots because the bezel color changes in different lights.

Let's get some micro brand love going.

Hi guys. New poster! Picked this up off Massdrop last month. Can't find much info on Jiusko watches, but for the price I'm nothing short of completely satisfied.

Seiko Alpinist (SARB017) on a honey/gold Hirsch strap. This is my second SARB after beginning my love affair with this line of Seikos with the cocktail time (SARB065) a couple years ago.

I do a very similar combination for my smarter ensembles - the Alpinist on a Hirsch ascot, honey brown:

However, I do love it on a leather nato strap too - completely different look!

SARB065 cocktail time - the watch that started it all for me.

I actually wanted to (and still do) get the Cocktail Time but I feel it'll be too big for my puny 6.15ish" wrist. The fact that there's hardly any bezel, and the dial takes up most of that size, along with the dial being predominantly white, makes it worse. :(

I hear you. My wrists are on the smallish size as well. I'd honestly probably prefer this watch at 38mm, but the dial, domed crystal, etc is all so beautiful to my eyes that it still gets lots of wrist time. It gets lots of compliments and questions.

I just can not get into the Alpinist. The Cocktail Time was a major interest of mine for a while, but my desire has faded. I think I'd pass on it unless available at a stupid discount.

Yes, I really *really* wish that there were more good watches in the sub $500 range 38mm or smaller. I agree, the cocktail time would be the perfect candidate for the smaller size!

I need to learn how to spot good vintage deals on eBay or the likes.
