Here is my Dornblueth 99.1 (42mm) on a 6 3/4 inch wrist. I wear it as a dress watch and it is my smallest watch. I am taller which I think makes it easier to wear larger watches.

I purchased the 99.1 and the Marine Original at the same time and kept the 99.1.

Beautiful watch. We all have our subjective preferences when it comes to watch size. I'm a fairly tall and muscular guy and have no problem wearing larger watches casually, but it's always looked off to my eye to wear a really large watch with tailored clothing. 36-38 mm is my sweet spot for a dress watch if I'm in a suit and I'll wear some 40 mm options if wearing a jacket. But if it's 41-44 mm, it's pretty rare that I'd wear it with a jacket or suit and more likely I've got sleeves rolled up and rocking that watch for the day.

Going through my watch collection and I think I came up with a box worth of “keepers”. I might put together one more box of keepers, or at least watches that aren’t a priority to sell.

Other than the Speedy (which I don’t think I’m 100% committed to), it’s sort of interesting that most of the ones I really want to keep are squarely in the “poor man’s” price range, particularly the Orange Monster, SBBN007 Tuna, the G-Shock, and Marathon TSAR.

My “fancier” watches I should start selling off to fund that Rolex Explorer I’ve always wanted…

Odds and ends including some vintage divers. There are a few in here that would be low priority to sell. I really like the all metal G-Shock and a couple of the Helsons, but most of the rest… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And finally, my MKII watches (not pictured is a Paradive which I’ve already listed for sale so it’s packed away ready to ship out to a new owner). I like all three of these, they still get worn on occasion, and would be relatively difficult to replace so would definitely be a low priority to sell.

Hey @Michigan Planner if you really want to get rid of your speedy - if it’s a hesalite Moonwatch PM me your asking price!

Sorry, that particular Speedy Pro is the "Sapphire Sandwich" one

Really like the Sinn in the bottom left corner. What's the reference on that?

That's the Sinn Military Type IV. It was a limited edition and I bought one a few years back when it was first released. I wore it a couple times and ended up selling it during an earlier purge. I always sort of regretted it and one more popped up on WatchBuys site last year so I jumped on it. 😅
