I believe it was replaced by the new Seiko 5 "Sport" line. They look a lot like the SXK but only water resistant up to 100M and not ISO certified, but have an upgraded movement that includes hand winding.

I'm in Houston, and had a place downtown oil and regulate a watch I had which cost me 100 bucks, but people said I overpaid. So I'm not really sure what it 'should' cost for that service.
I used to use wheeler watch clinic which was on main and Alabama Richmond but they were forced to move when the metro went through there. (Jesus how time flies!). They’re further up Main Street now on the edge of downtown on the east side of the street near a Wells Fargo. Old fashioned family owned watch repair shop that I used a lot.

I personally don't like them that big for myself, but that actually looks good on you. I'd keep it. So long as people don't mistake it for an Invicta, you're golden lol
Thanks. I think it’s too big so I returned it. When I wore it around the house my wife said it’s sort of takes over whatever I was wearing. She liked the watch though. I’m probably going to go with the Citizen promaster tough. It’s really nice. Thanks again

Thanks I'll keep that in mind! The watch I had serviced for a hundred bucks was my old Vostok Amphibia, at some place in the tunnel directly under Pennzoil Place on Rusk. I didn't know Seikos were more finicky or harder to service, so I'll keep Wheeler in mind for the future.

The Promaster definitely looks nice as well!

Today I'm wearing a cheap slim line Skagen. I wore through 2 flimsy leather straps (screw fit - no bars) before I hit on the idea of cutting up a nato to fit. I mostly wear chunky Citizen eco-drive watches but this one makes a pleasant change occasionally.

Took a break from my Seiko Perpetual Calendar for the MKII Graywater today.

First time poster to this thread. I’m curious to get your opinion on this Citizen radio control eco drive (AT9010-52E) that I just got from Amazon. I absolutely love the look of the watch, but I’m a little worried that it’s too big for my wrist (44mm case). I have between a seven and a 7” and 7 1/4” wrist. Thoughts? Following up here on a post from a few weeks back. I decided to return the very large citizen above and get the iconic Seiko Alpinist with strapcode oyster bracket. I got both off the Facebook Seiko marketplace from a guy in Maryland. I love it.

So I returned the large Citizen above. I liked everything about it except that it’s huge - 44mm. There is a “women’s” version that I’m considering. It’s 39mm and lots of reviews from bloggers and buyers say it looks like a men’s watch or that it’s unixlsex. Many of the buyer reviews are from men who bought it for themselves. What do you think - could I pull it off? The model is
FC0000-59D. Atomic time keeping, sapphire crystal and 100m water resistance. Here are a pic:

hers another on the wrist of a male reviewer who said it could easily be a mans watch:

here’s the review:
