Stitch - just checking, are you in Burma or Liberia? Or what's it, that other country that hasn't adopted the metric system..?

Thank you all so much for the votes. i still can't believe I managed to win this twice adn I really am blown away by all the support!

My browser at work is playing up so I will put the new Friday challenge (with inspirational pictures) thread up this evening after I get home.

Before then, though, I wanted to give you all a heads up.

The theme will be: The Green Jacket

This can be in any fabric you desire (tweed, worsted wool, corduroy, cotton, linen, etc. as befits your climate) and worn as a suit or as a sportscoat - no casual jackets like waxed cotton Barbours, M65 field jackets, etc.

This has to be worn in the CM context, ie with a tie and proper shoes/boots. Pocket squares are optional.

Nice theme for the next FC, Gerry! My only greenish jacket is a rather murky, slightly brownish olive shade. Does it qualify for this challenge?

Hmmmm. I've always felt that my green corduroy jacket looks best without a tie. This may be the week to try to see if that is really true.

I don't understand why not.

This is but one of at least three off the top of my head.

Look forward to participating. Only question is whether I go summery or fall-y
