I am looking to get a parka for this winter. Something fairly simple with not many pockets and flaps and all of that nonsense. I am going to be wearing it over my suits when it is frigid here in NYC. The thing is I am looking for one that is not made in China. I found an awesome United Bamboo one, but they discontinued operations in Japan over the last year and are producing it in China now. Granted the price came down, I am not buying from my Country's economic rival. Does anybody have an ideas?

that albam parka is absolutely beautiful.

i'm 100% with you, "made in USA" is the only way to go.

Not quite... I am looking for something down lined, fur on the hood and less military inspired. Simple pockets on the sides and cut right above the knee.

I was looking for the chateau parka last year and I couldn't find one, maybe this year will be different. Thanks.
