Hello SF members,
I am looking for good quality plain black derbies for work - captoe or plain toe, no brogues or patterns. Prefer dainite sole for traction on slippery surfaces. They may get the occasional splash of liquid so oxfords are not ideal.

Recently, I bought a bunch of vintage black PTBs:

Florsheim shell
Florsheim calf
Hartt prairie oxhide

I know it's a faux pas, but I wear with suits, and casual. Pretty versatile.

2 eyelet Derby.

Alfred Sargent Pimlico comes to mind.

Cheaney Old also looks nice and is quite a bit cheaper.
