Here are the brogues that I got today, with jeans. I'm not sure if these are calfskin or cordovan, can anyone tell from the rippling? In any case, they look really nice IMO, and for $35 shipped...

The jeans are PDC GTO 1 year from about 3 years ago, one of my fav pairs.

Great color. I'd need a closer pic to tell on the cordovan thing, but based on the rarity of that and what I can see, I'm going 7:1 against right now.

Yeah, they probably are, but I like them anyways

They're pretty comfortable, seem like they are a bit more broken in than the Fairgates which are the same size.

Nice. Inspired by your first mention of these purchases, I picked up a pair myself. My first AE's! I like them but they are a little narrow. I should have gone for the normal width. Maybe.

Those are nice, what size and model are they?

Don't know the model, the size is 10C. Again, too narrow. I can wear them for a short time but not very comfortable. I'll keep an eye out for more.
