the new collection's tan calf/suede spectators are sweet as hell
Hope my size was still there when they cut them into half price

If anyone has a pair of the burgundy chukkas in a size 10D, let me know.

I bought a 10.5 that doesn't fit.

I'd be interested in a trade and, potentially, a sale of the 10.5s.

Polish with black? or maybe mix black and burgundy shoe cream, and polish with that?

They look like they may be C&J, so ordered a pair to check them out, not sure if they are SC, but the SA assured me that they were. If they are C&J SC, this is a great deal and probably deserves its own thread.

Be warned. The $568 retail price suggests the "cordovan" is a typo. Cavalry Calf is Brooks Bros speak for corrected grain. I don't remember BB every carrying a cordovan english shoe in recent years and certainly not this one. If it is cavalry calf, this is what it looks like after being worn:

Those shoes look absolutely terrible in real life. I don't know how they wear in but I think that seeing them was the first time I was repulsed by a wholecut. I don't remember what last they are on but it is not 318. They are definitely C&J.

Thanks Tarmac. I didn't know about cavalry calf. I was suspicious of the retail price but I thought that it was possibly a typo not the other way around.

$15 to find out, not a lot of risk. Did a quick search and found that C&J has made a few SC shoes for BB in the past. Checked the pic against my McCallums and the Peals look like they are made by C&J, so we'll see. If they are SC, the AS Peals I ordered are definitely going back!
