If you had to pick one, which would be the most versatile and stylish w/ Khaki or Jeans?

I would go with dark gray. Black's too austere, light gray could be seen as tending toward the more casual side.

Do I have to pick one?

Is it the law now that everyone has to have one of these rags?

Sorry mate but I just don't get the big attraction, nor understand why the magazines seem to be shoving them down our throats. Thankfully I live in a warm place so I can let this particular bandwagon roll right on by.

Have to, no. Would I like to purchase one because it's a style that I am fond of, yes. To each their own, roll on my friend.

dark grey is the most versatile I'd say. The black one is also worth considering if you have more of a dark complexion.

I am very fond of that style, thanks. I just have an opportunity to snag one of the three above for an incredible deal, so I'm trying to make the best choice. Dk. Grey seems to be pulling away.

Duffel coat would be a step in the wrong direction IMO. I had one in the infants school. We all used to put the hood up and fasten the neck strap then leave it unbuttoned and not put our arms in the sleeves to play Batman. I've since grown up.

These are the Old Navy "prep" coats. I picked one up as a 'beater' coat for 40 dollars. Nothing special about them but be aware that they run short. I'd prefer another 2-3 inches in the body length.

I have the charcoal.
