I got into the idea of peak lapel on sb jacket before dropping it as too fadish...

You might play slightly with the pockets to give a tist to your suit.

Mmm, This is the Huntsman influence. I have both to be honest, however, I only like the SBPL in a one button because I get the tailor to lower the buttoning point to create a longer, more rakish IMO, lapel.

I know what you mean, but I wouldn't use the word 'fadish', as they're not a new style, they've been around for donkey's...I also wouldn't worry about them being popular in ready to wear either, as RTW SBPL are always so badly executed, that a tailored made one, well cut and fitted, will stand out in the sea of garbage that's already out there.

I LOVE this jacket. Anyone have any info on it, or a trackback to where it was originally posted?

Thanks!

FWIW: My opinion for one button suits is notch lapel.

Quoting myself here, this is how much I'm loving this jacket!! Anyone? Bueller? Any info?

If I were getting SBPL, I would get

windowpane
hacking besom pockets
no ticket pocket

I'd still prefer notch over peak lapel though.

I have one, and while I love it and might get a second, they wouldn't be a mainstay.

You have created the right vibe and as a musician , you need your suits to match your creativity.

I'm more of a boring man type. 2 kids under the age of 1 , no money and a **** job.
