Its only for Aston owners and gives them something to take into the city. It's all about fun.

Also keep in mind it's also a status thing. Tells others you have a real Aston at home.

I think it's smart product planning, an Aston Martin owner probably has a subcompact in his or her personal fleet for running errands or driving around city traffic why not capture a chunk of that business that would otherwise buy a Smart Car, Fiat 500, Mini Cooper, Toyota Yaris as the inner city car.

Personally it looks butt ugly, I am just saying Aston Martin is smart to have this in their lineup. I also remember reading somewhere they tuned up MG Metros 30 years ago so it was not without precedent.
