One of the best overlooked brands around here. Why they're not more popular is beyond me.

Lets assume I fit in a size medium in J. Crew oxford shirts. What size would be equivalent in a Band of Outsiders oxford? I know they fit slim, would a medium be fine, or should I size up to large?

Also, would someone be kind enough to link me to a post that explains the BiG method of measuring shirts?

Depends on how the J Crew medium fits you. I am 5' 11" 170 and I can do medium and SOME smalls in J Crew. My BoO gingham is a medium and fits me slightly small. If I lost about 5 pounds it would fit perfect. Well it could be about a half inch longer. Compared to some of my untailored dress shirts, it is probably 3 inches shorter overall. urban outfitters.........umm......i think there is an american apparel somewhere....jcrew if it's on sale and you're "average/athletic/realman" build or like tailoring your clothes. Um.... i think that's it unless a new boutique opened that i don't know about. I think there is a place in park ave that sells shades of greige, aa, cheap monday, and another ****** brand. There really isn't much here.

Where are you now?

Looking for a wool grey cardigan at a reasonable price. Pretty simple and staple item. Any suggestions?
