So the first Suicide Squad was supposed to be DC's version of Guardians of the Galaxy, but it sucked. And they just went and hired the guy who directed Guardians and made another Suicide Squad. Hah.

Well played. Well played. Looks pretty spot on, which is just the icing on the cake.

Wasn't there some Suicide Squad reboot where they replaced Margot Robbie and every other character?

There was a Harley Quinn: That Woman From Suicide Squad movie, about the cackling villainess twirling around amidst some cgi birds or something. I think that was the last one.

Marvel is definitely setting up an MCU Young Avengers, no?

So far there have been 3 potential Young Avengers introduced between WandaVision and F&WS, plus there are apparently more coming in the Dr Strange & Ant-Man sequels, and the Hawkeye show.

You can fault Feige/Marvel Studios for a lot of things, but it is impressive how good they've gotten at continuity (with the exception of the Netflix series -- bring back Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin please!)

I think daredevil arc is done, but would love to see another Luke cage (didn’t seem finished), iron fist (started to ramp up at end of S2), maybe another defenders?

I was thinking more like bringing Kingpin back as a villain for Spider-Man.

But in general I have a feeling Marvel is going to put aside the Netflix characters. The new shows are all movie-quality TV shows. The Netflix shows were TV quality. It would take a soft reboot to bring those characters into the core of the MCU.

I thought Netflix held.onto the rights to those - it's why we can't see Agents of SHIELD on Disney+

They could probable keep Charlie Cox and Jon Bernthal as Daredevil and Punisher, and of course D'Onofrio as Kingpin. I'd be good with that.

Saw Godzilla V Kong on the weekend. Loud OTT batshit crazy and doing more damage to Hong Kong than the CCP.

The guy who played Luke Cage was good, too. Wouldn't hurt to use another superhero that isn't a white dude while they're at it.

The guy who played Luke Cage was good, but it was a horrible interpretation of the character. Felt nothing like the comic version.

When he was on Jessica Jones, it was sooo boring...
So when I saw he was getting his own show, I predicted a quick cancel. It did make 2 seasons though.
