Not exactly the right thread, but it seems appropriate...

I'll be in NYC next week, and while I have no shortage of places to hit up, I'm wondering if there are any under-the-radar spots I need to know about. That is, that people are willing to share. Thinking of resale shops that might not get a lot of talk (I know Tokio 7) or the like. And also: any sales that might be going on, even tho I know it's not the season...

For all in NYC, the Paul Smith sample sale started today. It's at 382 W. Broadway btwn. Spring and Broome. If you're a M or L or size 32 or 36 waist you'll find plenty of stuff. Shirts are $60, trousers $80, and I think denim is $60. Shoes are $120 (!), but almost everything is 8UK. If you're a S or 28 waist, there's a little bit of stock but you better head over today.
