i suspect C&J made for United Arrows in Japan which is obviously even more expensive because it is made for United Arrows with Japanese Pricing. and now, to buy the item on farfetch, you would have to re-import this overpriced C&J back into the UK, which means you pay duty on top of the inflated japanese price for something made in the UK,

I went to the North America boutique list and went to the first store I knew had an online shop of their own, H Lorenzo (so many of the boutiques don't, so it's hard to compare prices)
https://www.farfetch.com/shopping/men/fear-of-god-paint-detail-jeans-item-12703049.aspx?storeid=9331
vs
https://www.hlorenzo.com/collections/fear-of-god-men/products/5c-17-sdvj-black-romper (and they have way more items for sale on their own site)

For Italy, Antonioli. Both prices are duty included and free shipping

vs
https://www.antonioli.eu/en/US/men/products/bm002v1014-600

It's just two examples but the first random two I found.

I had a really fun farfetch/boutique interaction recently where I bought a pair of pants off farfetch, during a sale they were running, and then the fulfilling boutique (Cruvoir) claimed to be out of stock. Of course, if you went to that boutique's own site, the pants were in stock—they were just not yet discounted, so more expensive than they were during the farfetch sale. (It did make me wonder if, when farfetch runs a sale of their own, they take a hit relative to the fulfilling boutique's prices, or if the boutique is supposed to honor farfetch's sale price, or what.)

There is one place in Eastern Europe that I've gotten bargains from off of Farfetch for Margiela. Anyway, clearly, there are examples the other way as well. For example, quite a few times now, I've gotten something from The Library off of Farfetch for far lower than I would have from the Library webstore itself (incidentally, UK based). For example, here:

The Uma Wang coat on Farfetch is 50% off, and for $549. That's not including he additional 20% off, which would take it to $439.
https://www.farfetch.com/shopping/m...breasted-coat-item-12914010.aspx?storeid=9095

On The Library site, the same coat is only 30% off, for 627 GBP.

Anyway, I really don't know why were are even arguing about this. I feel dumb doing so. Can we just agree that the pricing varies between boutiques, and that different boutiques have different pricing schemes in their use of Farfetch, and to use your common sense?
