Chiming in on RG. I've ordered three separate times from them (W+H, RG), and have never been hit with customs. Arrives in about a week or so, IIRC.
What's the deal with Au Revoir not deducting VAT on sale items? I thought VAT was paid to the government anyway, so why is it that they can chose to exclude some items?
Thecorner just sent out an email about further drops.
NAFTA should apply, meaning you won't be hit with customs from Canada. Shop away!
I believe NAFTA applies to goods made in Canada exported to the US or Mexico and vice versa. So clothing made in Japan for example would not be covered by NAFTA according to the rules of origin. I could be wrong but that's the impression I have.
Sydney's weekly email newsletter is going out tomorrow and will include a coupon code for an additional 15% off of all sale items, but we're inviting SF members to take advantage of the promotion first.
Use coupon code "add15" at checkout.
