Givenchy was really lazy; very little variation. This season disappoints so far.

Well yohji was cool at least.

Really liked Dries. Also, can we take a moment and reflect on how great was Yohji, seriously. (edit: beat to it by macuser) Paris >>> Milan

Yeah, I've been pretty bored with most stuff too. I'm hoping for a better showing in NYC once that rolls around.

EDIT: Yohji was pretty cool. Not my thing, but fun to look at.

In NYC I generally like Spurr, Geller, and Ervell, though my favorites overall are usually Bottega Veneta and Paul Smith (neither NYC, I know). I liked BV a lot and PS I'm still waiting to see. Beyond that, there were a couple shows I liked each in Milan and Paris (Gucci and Prorsum; Yohji and Louis Vutton), but overall I wasn't crazy about the overall showing at either. Jil I never like; Dries I thought was ok. So yeah, I'm hoping the showing in NYC is better.

Yohji + Dries indeed (and some Missoni and Miyake bits for me), waiting for AnnD (maybe Lanvin and Petar) and curious about Raf and that's it. Quick Yohji selection

Dries was my definite favorite as well (usually is though) and I also happened to like Adam Kimmel's collection quite a bit. Actually, it was maybe my favorite collection he's ever shown.

I'm really underwhelmed by the shows so far. A lot of the contributors seem to be phoning it in and/or changing gears inexplicably.

Seriously? MB makes nice pieces but practically everything/every show in NY is boring as hell, year after year. It usually looks like the fashion shows my high school put on. (But didn't CK formerly present there, or am I crazy and he's always been lumped in with Paris/Milan?)

Pretty sure CK was in NYC last year. Only show I'm looking forward to is Ervell (Bastian can go choke on a tassel loafer for all I care )

If I had unlimited money I'd definitely try and steez up in Yohji/Rick. Urban Samurai meets Dystopian Future? Abso-friggin-lutely.

Hell, if I had a few burlap sacks and a sewing machine....
