Felt it in NC. Talked to family in Charleston, SC & Athens, GA and they felt it as well. Crazy.

I'm in Athens, and I didn't feel it. The Atlanta paper said it was felt in Atlanta and Athens, but no one in my office felt a thing. I'm not sure if I should be grateful or disappointed.

considering it seems it didnt damage or hurt anyone here, i would have been disappointed to have missed it. but i wouldnt worry too much. was kinda neat but thats about it.

Disappointed, of course.

I'm visiting my girlfriend in Virginia and was at a local store. Had just located some condoms and was reaching for them when the earthquake hit. No joke--felt like the earth was warning me against concupiscence.

As someone who's experienced a decent number of quakes in Southern California, I found it amusing when everyone was wandering around in a low-level panic. But I was surprised when I found out it was a 5.9. Felt like a 4-point-something from here.

Best line before ************ gf: "Let me show you how a real earthquake feels like."

Yeah, this is kind of what I was thinking. No one got hurt, and no damage was done, so it's kind of too bad I missed the shaking.
