Perhaps it's just me.

Great looking sport coat, but - as someone who typically buys and wears 42 short off the peg (and I'm hoping that others who weat this size can chime in) - the measurements cited look a little more in the neighbohood of what I'm used to seeing in a 42 reg. e.g., a 26 inch sleeve is nearly 2 inches longer than I typically wear (and I seldom have to have jacket sleeves altered by two inches) and I'm more used to seeing/wearing lengths around 30-31" from the top of the collar to the hem (rather than the bottom of the hem).

Not to dump on the coat - which looks great - but is there a chance that this was mislabeled?

Absolutely. I am new at measuring, and probably did it wrong. I will try again soon.

I wear a short as well, and I find Hickey Freeman to be unwearably long. They seem to fit me worse than a lot of other brands' regulars.
