Two questions for those who have tried them: Are the back pockets so low that these would be difficult to dress up, and will the narrower calves help cut down on the bunching I get at the knees of my SSDS?

I was thinking that the lower back pockets might help even me out, because I have long legs and a short torso, so was thinking that this might give a more balanced appearance. Anyone in LA have them on the shelves to try?

yeh, the pair I'm looking at is non-selvage italian denim... but I'm sure nudie will bring out a selvage version. There is also an organic version. check fos5.com and contextclothing.com... they both have versions.... i'm getting mine from revolve.

I already own 2 pairs of ralf's and didn't want another heavily branded pair which is why I like the semi-invisible blue stitching instead of orange.

According to the "mynudies" forum theres another new fit coming out soon called average joe. It sounds like its the same as even steven but with higher back pocket placement. Sounds good to me. I think the even steven is a bit hip hop slouchy. Imo they wont better reg ralf and i'm sure it'll become a classic.

not that you can tell much by that photo, but the fit looks pretty bad. pockets are way too ******* low on those. guess i'll be passing on these

Pockets look too low to me, but otherwise the jean looks like it fits really well. I like that denim too.

I find the nudie orange stitching to be a bit obnoxious, but without any contrast it looks a bit weird. It is all about balance...
